Stage 3 Action Planning -
It is imperative that the development plan is created in collaboration with the individual and that it is unique to the individual. We work with individual clients to ensure that any plan is realistic and addresses the agreed findings from Stages 1 and 2. An aspect that we encourage individual plans to incorporate is that of positive psychological thinking – this has been shown to contribute to improved performance and well-being. Once the plan has been agreed the individual takes control of their own development – we pass the locus of control to them, but make sure that the individual is aware that they are not alone, via Stage 4.
